UTAH STATE PRISON — The notorious 'Capitol Hill Rapist' has entered a new phase of his sex offender treatment.

The Utah Board of Pardons and Parole announced Monday that Bob Lee Boog Jr. would remain on parole, but must complete a new sex offender program. He will also be under "intensive supervision" and must cooperate with transitional services directed by Adult Probation and Parole.

Boog has been in a halfway house since 2006, after serving time in the Utah State Prison in connection with a series of rapes in Salt Lake City's Capitol Hill neighborhood in the 1980s.
