William Duane Beason
"We Love You"
William Beason, age 66, passed away very unexpectedly of a heart attack on January 21, 2008 in West Valley City, Utah.
Bill was born December 28, 1941 in Ennis, Montana, to Robert Riley and Emma Shewmaker Beason. He attended Murray High School, and married Sharon Anne Thomas, March 16, 1961, in Salt Lake City and were happily married for 46 years.
Bill proudly served two tours of duty including the Vietnam War for the U.S. Navy. He worked in construction as a cement finisher for over 30 years. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. Family was his most treasured possession. Precious memories were made at family barbeques, camping, hunting, bowling, doing puzzles, going on cruises and watching the Rams on Sunday. Our Dad loved a good joke and laughing with his grandchildren. He will be greatly missed.
Bill is survived by his wife and six children, Duane (Cindy), Marty (Karrie), Brien, Shannan, Susan (Cory), and Billie (Jason). Bill is one of nine children with 11 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Preceded in death by a grandson, Dallas Duane Beason.
Funeral services will be Saturday Jan. 26, 2008 at 2 p.m. at the Valley View Ward Chapel, 5180 W. 4700 S. The family will receive friends at a visitation Sat., between 11:00 a.m. - 1:45 p.m. at the church prior to the services. Interment: Valley View Memorial Park, 4400 W. 4100 S., under the direction of Valley View Funeral Home.
