THERE WILL BE BLOOD — Daniel Day-Lewis stars in screenwriter/director P.T. Anderson's oil-centric thriller.

YOUTH WITHOUT YOUTH — Francis Ford Coppola returns with this fantasy about a time-traveling professor (Tim Roth).

JAN. 18

CLOVERFIELD — JJ Abrams produced this thriller about a monstrous creature that runs rampant through Manhattan.

FALLING — Richard Dutcher directed and stars in his latest, a drama about the spiritual dilemma of a videographer.

MAD MONEY — Comedy starring Diane Keaton, Queen Latifah and Katie Holmes as unlikely bank robbers.

JAN. 25

BE KIND REWIND — Video-store employees (Jack Black and Mos Def) remake several blockbuster films in this comedy-fantasy.

HOW SHE MOVE — Step-dancing drama that was a hit at the 2007 Sundance Film Festival.

MEET THE SPARTANS — The "epic movie" folks spoof "300" and other historical epics.

RAMBO — This sequel sees John Rambo (Sylvester Stallone) freeing kidnapped aid workers in Thailand.

UNTRACEABLE — Thriller starring Diane Lane as an FBI agent on the trail of a killer posting his crimes on the Internet.

FEB. 1

THE EYE — The horror remake stars Jessica Alba as a woman whose eye transplant gives her glimpses into the supernatural world.

OVER HER DEAD BODY — Ghostly Eva Longoria tries to sabotage her still-living boyfriend's love life in this comic fantasy.

HANNAH MONTANA/MILEY CYRUS: BEST OF BOTH WORLDS CONCERT TOUR — Concert film shot mostly in Utah and shown in the 3-D format.

THE SAVAGES — Siblings Philip Seymour Hoffman and Laura Linney must take care of their ill father in this comedy-drama.

STRANGE WILDERNESS — Comedy about reality TV stars in search of Bigfoot. Steve Zahn stars.

THE WALKER — Woody Harrelson plays a male escort who becomes a murder suspect in this period thriller.

THE POUGHKEPSIE TAPES — Serial killer thriller shot in faux-documentary style.

WAR DANCE — Award-winning documentary feature following three children in a Ugandan refugee camp.

WELCOME HOME ROSCOE JENKINS — Comedy-drama about a talk-show host (Martin Lawrence) reuniting with his family.

DEFINITELY, MAYBE — Comedy about a divorcee (Ryan Reynolds) trying to explain his failed relationships to his daughter.

JUMPER — Director Doug Liman returns with this sci-fi/thriller about a man (Hayden Christensen) with the ability to "jump" anywhere in the world.

STEP UP 2 THE STREETS — This sequel to last year's surprise hit follows dancers who enter an underground competition.

10,000 B.C. — Roland Emmerich's fantasy pits cavemen against very prehistoric creatures such as saber-tooth tigers and woolly mammoths.

THE ACCIDENTAL HUSBAND — Comedy starring Uma Thurman as a talk-show host who becomes involved in a listener's personal life.

THE BANK JOB — Caper thriller based on a real incident and starring Jason Statham.

COLLEGE ROAD TRIP — Martin Lawrence plays Raven Symone's overprotective father in this road comedy.

FUNNY GAMES — Michael Haneke remakes his 1997 hit, a thriller about a couple (Naomi Watts and Tim Roth) held hostage in their home.

DRILLBIT TAYLOR — Supposed soldier of fortune (Owen Wilson) promises to protect teens from bullies in this comedy.

INKHEART — Adaptation of the fantasy best-seller about a little girl trying to rescue her kidnapped father/writer (Brendan Fraser).

MEET THE BROWNS — Angela Bassett meets the family she never knew she had in Tyler Perry's latest.

MARCH 28

21 — Drama based on the true story of six MIT students who won millions gambling at several Vegas casinos.

RUN, FAT BOY, RUN — Simon Pegg gets in shape in this romantic comedy about a once-obese man trying to woo his dream woman.

STOP LOSS — Soldier Ryan Phillippe refuses to return for a second tour of duty in this Iraq War drama.

SUPERHERO! — Comedy that spoofs comic-book adaptations and such hits as television's "Heroes."

IN BRUGES — Paid assassins (Colin Farrell and Brendan Gleeson) vacation in Belgium in this comic thriller.

THE ORPHANAGE — Guillermo del Toro produced this horror-thriller about a mysterious home for orphaned youngsters. Spanish with subtitles.

PENELOPE — Christina Ricci plays the title character in this fantasy about a woman born with a pig snout for a nose.
