The Workers Compensation Fund will have a new headquarters soon. Construction began last week on a 150,000-square-foot, six-story building at 100 W. Towne Ridge Parkway (9700 South), Sandy.
The $35 million project is expected to take two years to complete. WCF will retain its current five-story building in Murray as part of its real estate investment portfolio, making it available for tenants in 2010. A portion of the new building will be available for lease. To help pay for the new building, WCF recently sold two commercial building properties it owned in Sandy.
WCF is a workers compensation insurance provider, promoting workplace safety to more than 30,000 Utah companies.
