REGION 1
SYRACUSE 10, DAVIS 9: Syracuse overcame three third quarter turnovers to beat the Darts. Braden Hamblin ran into the endzone with under five minutes remaining and Josh Kealamakia's extra point put the Titans ahead for good.
CLEARFIELD 28, FREMONT 7: The Falcons came up with two big fourth quarter plays to finish off Fremont. Austin Ford had a 20-yard interception return for a TD and Nic Espinoza recovered a fumble in the endzone to put the game out of reach.
NORTHRIDGE 28, VIEWMONT 24: Junior Cole had a big night with 231 yards of total offense. Cole threw one touchdown and also ran for another in the win. Peni Maka'afi rushed for 188 yards and one touchdown for Northridge.
LAYTON 28, WEBER 7: Quarterback Camren Applegate had 387 yards of total offense for the Lancers. Receiver Thomas Bryson had 209 yards and one touchdown for Layton. Kimble Jensen led the defense with two touchdowns and an interception.
REGION 2
HILLCREST 30, TAYLORSVILLE 0: Quarterback Colby Coplin threw 4 touchdowns. Coplin connected with three different recievers Hillcrest touchdowns. Defensively Matt Augustyne returned an interception on the last play of the game to seal the shutout.
SKYLINE 16, BRIGHTON 0: Algernon Brown led the Eagle attack with 150 yards rushing on 21 carries. The Skyline defense was able to hold Brighton to 181 yards of total offense, and Caleb Latteier closed the door for a comeback with his 92-yard interception return.
ALTA 38, JORDAN 36: Vance Bingham kicked a 39-yard field goal as time expired to give the Hawks the region-clinching win. Ammon Olsen completed three passes for 52 yards on the final drive to set-up the field goal. Alex Hart threw a seven-yard pass to Cory Hunt and then completed a two-point conversion to Braden Hammond to give Jordan the one-point lead with 45 seconds left.
REGION 7
OREM 32, MOUNTAIN VIEW 0: The Tigers routed cross-town rival Mountain View by racking up 259 yards on the ground while the Bruins managed only 148 total yards and crossed midfield only once. John Huntbach had 126 yards rushing for the Tigers while teammate Tyler Boulter added 121 yards and a 25-yard field goal.
TIMPVIEW 51, PROVO 7: Casey Rumsey threw four touchdown passes, three of which were caught by Travis Van Leeuwen. Levi Te'o had 10 carries for 68 yards and two TDs as the No. 1 T-Birds remained unbeaten.
SPRINGVILLE 45, PAYSON 7: Luke Frampton had 120 receiving yards and caught three touchdown passes, all from quarterback Isaac Allred, as Springville dominated Payson for the win. The Red Devils held the Lions to only 149 yards of total offense.

NORTH SANPETE 28, CARBON 14: The Hawks beat the Dinos for the important region win.
JUAN DIEGO 21, DELTA 7: Jaron Kinniger's 72-yard run on a 3rd-down play got the Juan Diego offense started as the Soaring Eagle clinched the region championship. The Juan Diego defense held Delta to only four first downs in the second half.

CEDAR 21, CANYON VIEW 7: Trent Grover led the way for the Redmen, rushing for 132 yards and a touchdown on 29 carries.
HURRICANE 54, DESERT HILLS 0: Gordie Dotson had 13 carries for 102 yards and two rushing touchdowns as Hurricane dominated Desert Hills to seal the region championship. Dotson also had a reception for a touchdown and the Tigers scored 16 points on defense with two touchdowns and a safety.
DIXIE 34, SNOW CANYON 14: The Flyers compiled 400 yards of total offense to beat Snow Canyon on the road. Mike Sharp completed 13-of-22 passes for 164 yards, throwing for a touchdown and rushing for another. John Matuato carried 18 times for 150 yards, including a 44-yard TD run.
REGION 11
LOGAN 42, BEAR RIVER 18: Jeff Manning was 25-of-37 for 291 yards and five touchdowns, two to Zach Skabelund, to lead Logan over Bear River. Brennen Alleman also had eight receptions for 113 yards and one touchdown for the Grizzlies.
MORGAN 40, GRANTSVILLE 0: Jake Kinsey 13 carries for 83 yards and four touchdowns and Dayton Smith rushed nine times 91 yards and a score as Morgan trounced Grantsville. The Trojans gathered 18 first downs and 259 yards on the ground offensively. Chance Porter had six solo tackles and four assists, Ben Van Campen had four solos, two assists and one interception and Tyson Winchester added two interceptions to lead Morgan's defense.
2A PLAYOFFS
NORTH SUMMIT 39, GRAND 13: The Braves were led to victory behind the play of quarterback Deven Holmes, who had 66 yards on 12 carries and one rushing touchdown in addition to two passing TDs. Red Devil quarterback Dallen Dalton rushed for 68 yards and one touchdown on 27 carries as well as kicking an extra point in the losing effort for Grand.
BEAVER 26, GUNNISON 6: Statton Littlefield ran for two touchdowns while Rob Gurr and Judd Marshall each found the endzone once for the Beavers who advanced to the quarterfinals with the win.
RICHFIELD 18, SOUTH SUMMIT 6: Richfield forced five turnovers to advance in the state playoffs. South Summit's Jace Johnson returned the opening kickoff 92 yards for a touchdown, but it was all Richfield from there. Zach Cropper rushed for 70 yards and a touchdown, and quarterback Tyler Sorensen and receiver Trent Nielson hooked up four times for 100 yards.
MILLARD 41, AMERICAN LEADERSHIP 14: Clancy Mortensen dominated both sides of the field, rushing, passing and receiving touchdowns on offense and running back an interception for a score defensively to lead Millard to the 2A quarterfinals. Sophomore Nate Robison filled in admirably at quarterback, throwing two touchdowns.

LAYTON CHRISTIAN 44, ALTAMONT 34: Justin Brown was the biggest threat on the field for the Eagles. Brown had four touchdowns in the game, and four interceptions, one of them returned for a score. On defense, Rodney Hamilton led the attack with 11 tackles.
RICH 33, MONTICELLO 7: Rich was able to keep their playoff hopes alive with a big win over Monticello.
1A SOUTH
KANAB 28, ENTERPRISE 0: Kanab kept their region record perfect with the shutout over Enterprise.
NORTH SEVIER 56, MILFORD 0: North Sevier was able to get the job done on the ground against Milford. Wyatt Mason was able to find the endzone twice for the Wolves in the shutout.

PAROWAN 47, DUCHESNE 8: Nick Wood was 9-of-10 for 179 yards and two touchdowns and he also rushed 10 times for 97 yards and one TD to lead Parowan over Duchesne. Tanner Orton had six receptions for 116 yards and a touchdown, while Brett Cecil led the defense with eight tackles and three assists.
