Two of the most successful veterans in Utah radio — Scott Fisher and Peggy Ijams — have joined forces to create an expanded morning radio team on KOSY (FM-106.5).

Pairing these two together for a 5:30-9 a.m. weekday show creates a dream team of sorts. Both have more than three decades of broadcast experience and love the medium of radio.

Fisher has been a morning host on KOSY since earlier this year. Ijams joined the show Sept. 22.

Fisher is best known for his 16 years on KISN's "Fisher and Todd" show. He also worked at "K96" in Provo, KQMB and has also done some nationwide commercial voice work. He also was a DJ on KOSY in 2001.

Ijams was half of the No. 1 "Dain and Peggy" show on KSFI for many years. She has also worked for KDYL, KCPX and KEGA. She also did some TV gigs.

Clear Channel Communications, owner of KOSY, added Ijams to the KOSY show to better compete against longtime rival KSFI, which has had a lock on adult contemporary music in Salt Lake City for many years.
