• The Pearl Awards, given out by the Faith-Centered Music Association to recognize excellence in music production, recording and presentation, will be handed out Wednesday, Nov. 12. The event will take place at the Gordon B. Hinckley Alumni Center at BYU.This year's nominees were selected from more than 300 entries, which were reviewed and voted on by a nominating committee of professionals representing various segments of the industry. As many as five nominees in each category were selected to be voted on by the FCMA membership.Nominees represent both new voices and veterans, who offer a broad spectrum of styles in various categories.
