All Steve & Barry's stores are closing throughout the United States, including the Utah store at 5546 S. Van Winkle Expressway in Murray.
During the holiday shopping season, merchandise will be heavily discounted.
Steve & Barry's sells casual wear for men, women and children. In August, 97 stores were closed after the Port Washington, N.Y.-based chain was acquired by two investment firms. Now, the remaining 173 stores are closing, after plans to go forward were unsuccessful, according to a statement from the company.

Going-out-of-business sales will be conducted by Great American Group LLC, SB Capital Group LLC, Tiger Capital Group LLC and Hudson Capital Partners LLC. The sale is sales are expected to last five to seven weeks.
