Two Cedar City businesses were destroyed in a fire that raged for hours early Tuesday. The fire was reported about 1 a.m. near Main Street and Center Street. Firefighters fought the blaze throughout the night, bringing in all 50 of their staff and volunteers, right. The roof collapsed on the building, which housed a pizza shop and a bicycle shop. "It was a tough one to fight, the building had been remodeled so many times," Cedar City Fire Chief Paul Irons said. The fire was contained to one building, but a neighboring business reported some minor water damage. Fire investigators were still trying to determine the cause, below.
