DAYTON, Ohio (AP) — A homemade bomb was found Tuesday at a gas station a block away from a school, and authorities arresting a suspect found a second bomb on the man's body, police said.
The man arrested, Jesse B. McDermitt, 18, had been convicted in 2006 of taking explosives to a different school where he said he had been the subject of ridicule.
Both bombs were dismantled, and no one was injured, police said. Authorities would not say whether the bombs were part of a larger plot or whether the school was an intended target.
