Nancy Lofgren Finch
1964 ~ 2008
Nancy Lofgren Finch passed away on Feb. 12, 2008 in Salt Lake City.Born June 4, 1964 to Richard and Gwen Lofgren, Nancy lived with diabetes all her life and lost her sight as a young adult. She learned to see with different eyes and was able to bring joy and happiness to all who knew her.
Married Paul Henry Finch on March 8, 1992. Though she never had children of her own she enjoyed youth and sharing a different view of the world with them. Nancy's sense of humor and her optimism of living life brought smiles to those around her.
Survived by father and stepmother Richard and Audrey Lofgren, sister Judy Lange (Mitchial), brother Gary Lofgren (Becky), sister Joyce Crook (Kelly), brother Mark Riley (Mary), sister Carol Johnson (Jerold), step son Jack Finch, nephews and nieces, and her bird Riley.
Preceded in death by husband Paul Finch, mother Gwen Lofgren, sister Lynn Lofgren, and guide dogs Sadie and Kappa.
The family wishes to express thanks to all those who cared for and loved Nancy.
A viewing will be held on Saturday Feb. 16, 2008, 10:30-11:30 a.m. at the Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary (4760 S. State St.) The graveside service will be held at 12 noon at the Holladay Memorial Park (4900 Memory Ln.)
