June Ardella Anderson

1919 ~ 2008

Sometimes, a mom means laughter, sharing, and warmth. Sometimes, a mom means understanding, encouragement, and guidance. But always, a mom means love. As time goes by we appreciate more and more all the things you've done for us, realize your sacrifices, and appreciate your wisdom. And with all these things, we discover how much we love who you are and how thankful we are that you are our mom. Our loving mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt passed from us February 19, 2008. June Ardella Yeadon was born February 25, 1919 in Berwyn, Nebraska to Lee Yeadon and Lillian Ethel Wayne Yeadon.

She was the second of five children and is survived by her brother

Howard Yeadon and sister Ellen Anderson. She was preceded in death by her husband, two brothers, and one grandchild.

After graduating from college, she moved to Clayton, Idaho to teach school. This is where she met Melvin Anderson, the love of her life, and they were married in Salt Lake City on June 23, 1943. They had four children, Gay (Don) Wardle; Barbara (Mike) Farmer; Doug Anderson; and Dwight (Lisa) Anderson; nine grandchildren: Scott (Jennifer) Wardle; Christian Wardle; Jessica (Adam) Mathes; Angela (Rick) Hotz; Michael Farmer; Casey (Jo) Anderson; Michelle; Mandy; Currin Anderson; and four great grandchildren.

We, her children wish to express our appreciation to Cheri Uzzel and her staff of "Angels" at Alta Ridge of Holladay for their loving care of mom. We had the peace of mind to know that mom was safe and well taken care of at all times. Words cannot express our love for these special people.

Funeral services will be held Saturday Feb. 23rd, at 11 a.m. at Mountain View Mortuary Chapel, 3115 E. 7800 S. where friends may call one hour prior to services. Interment, Mountain View Memorial Estates.
