MORGAN- John Sidney Creager (Sid), age 86, passed away Sunday, March 9, 2008, in Morgan, Utah.

He was born February 17, 1922, in Richville, Morgan, Utah, the oldest son of Sidney Merriel and Cleora Peterson Creager. He graduated from Morgan High School and Seminary in 1940. He worked for the Army Air Force for five years, most of his time spent at Hickam Field, Hawaii. He served The Church of

Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Australia Mission from 1946-1948. He married his sweetheart, Nellie Nash, of Sydney, NSW, Australia, on April 26, 1950, in the Alberta Temple, Cardston, Alberta, Canada. He retired with 37 years of service from Hill Air Force Base. He also worked at the Valley Implement in Morgan, and for Anschutz Oil Company. He owned and operated Sid's Trim Shop, his own upholstery business, for most of his life. From 1993-1995, he and his wife served a mission in the Salt Lake City Family History Center.

He was an extraordinarily spiritual man and lived a life filled with service to his family, community, and church. He was a devoted horseman and loved yearly cattle drives through the mountains from Utah to Wyoming. His greatest joy was being with his family.
