Unpopular wars create a sickness in the community. Jingoists spew political bile. Words like "liberal" become cancerous. Those seeking a healthier natural environment are "tree-huggers"! Nourishment for the underserved and the weak is "socialistic"! Newspapers, journals and nightly news become the contaminated "drive-by media"!
People become so ill during times of unapproved war that we forget how interdependent and self-healing we naturally are. Instead of finding cures for the most simple of destructive conditions, we elect to be driven further into quarantine.
