CENTENNIAL, Colo. — A Denver-area aircraft manufacturer is ready to get back into business after an equity firm acquired the company for $10 million.

The purchase of Adam Aircraft by AAI Acquisition Inc. was approved Wednesday by a federal bankruptcy judge.

Adam Aircraft shut down its operations at the Centennial Airport in Englewood, along with Pueblo and Ogden, Utah, this year and filed for bankruptcy after it ran out of money.

An AAI representative says the company will reopen at Centennial with up to 60 workers, but there are no immediate plans to restart operations in Pueblo or Utah.
