Leah Moore Harris Fullmer

1912 ~ 2008

Our loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, Leah Moore Harris Fullmer, passed away April 28, 2008 at the age of 95. She was born on August 31, 1912 in Provo, Utah to Ernest and Birdie Hansen Moore.Leah married LeGrande Smith Harris September 11, 1934 in Nephi, Utah. They are the parents of four children. Lee died in Provo, Utah October 1, 1977. Leah took great pride in her children and grandchildren. She always said she had the smartest, best looking children and grandchildren and that there wasn't a bad one in the bunch.

She later married William Evan Fullmer on July 24, 1980 in Twin Falls, Idaho. They spent their married life in Utah enjoying their families. He passed away February 26, 1999 in Provo, Utah. She was an excellent seamstress and many people enjoyed wearing her creations. She enjoyed a long career with the Singer Sewing Machine Co. as a bookkeeper and sewing instructor. Last August, in a surprise ceremony, she received her long lost graduation diploma from Provo High School. She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers.

Leah is survived by her children: Alan (Jill) Harris, Linda Lee (Alvin) Dansie, Blaine (Geneil) Harris and Randall M. (Karen) Harris; step-children: Evan (Mary) Fullmer, Gayle Serven and Laura Lee (Ted) Sutton; 19 grandchildren, 54 great-grand-children, four great-great-grand-children, 10 step-grandchildren and 10 step-great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, siblings: Lois McCord, Winona Moore, Stan Moore, Margurie M. Thomas, Bobbie Moore and Colleen M. Clark; one step-son, Owen (Brenda) Fullmer Dinninger; and one granddaughter.

She had a keen sense of humor and could find fun and pleasure in whatever she did. She will be missed and remembered by all who knew and loved her.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 2, 2008 at Berg Mortuary, 185 E. Center, Provo. Friends may call on Thurs. from 6-8 p.m. and from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to the services.
