Laren B. Lords
"Pooh Bear"
Our loving husband, father, and G-Pa Laren B. Lords passed away on May 19, 2008 in Murray, Utah. He was born on April 8, 1940 in Lewisville, Idaho to James Merlin Lords and Mable Lula Barnes. He married his sweetheart Carol J. Flitton on April 12, 1963 and later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple on January 19, 1979.
He had a love of the outdoors, hunting, rodeo's and bowling. His greatest joys were spending time with his grandchildren, cows and his dog D-O-G.
He is survived by his loving wife; children, Calman (Keely), Shawn (Paula), Justin (Teresa), Jason (Jodie), April (Brad) and 11 grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents and sisters, DeeAnn Byrnes and Rhonda Lee Lords.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 23, 2008 at the Jordan Oaks 6th Ward at 8117 S. Leslie Drive. A viewing will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, May 22, 2008 at the Redwood Memorial Mortuary, 6500 S. Redwood Rd.
