Jean Reiko Ozawa Noda

Born on April 2, 1927 to Toku Ono Ozawa and Shonosuke Ozawa in Lompoc California, wife of Ben Tsutomu Noda who preceded her in death in 1992, beloved mother to Janice Papanikolas, Linda Kitano, and Marlene Noda-Bell, passed away peacefully in her sleep after a long battle with cancer on the morning of June 11, 2008.Jean was known for her welcoming personality, humor, and hard working ethics where she and her husband owned and operated the Hibachi Restaurant in Salt Lake City, Utah for over 24 years.
Jean is preceded in death by her sister, Kimiko Kojima and brother, Yosh Ozawa, beloved sister to Jane Oki, and Harry Ozawa, grandmother to Jason and Derik Kimball, Jeremy, Meisha and Sam Papanikolas, Jennifer Mino, Jeffrey Kitano, Kristen Jones, and Kumiko Noda, great-grandmother to Brody Jones and Miles Mino, and Talon Noda-McCauley, will be deeply missed for her wonderful smile, cheerful personality, and loving spirit.
