Julia Galvan Esparza

1920 ~ 2008

Our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away June 29, 2008 in Murray, Ut. She was born in Grantsville, Utah on April 12, 1920 to Porfidia and Jose Guadalupe Raso. She was married to Jacinto Galvan, who died during World War II; then married Antonio Esparza.

She is survived by her sons, Dennis (Veronica) Galvan and Jacinto (Kristie) Galvan, Frank and James (Beth) Esparza; and daughter, Cindy (Elias) Archibeque; brother, Trino Raso; sisters, Angela Okamura and Delores Maestas; 19 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; 18 great-great-grandchildren; and many

nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her dear friends: The Fitzgeralds, Carlos and Albert Ybarra, Vina and Tony Borrero -with a special thanks to the Gonzales family and Jenny Martin. Preceded in death by her son, Antonio, Jr.

There will be a visitation Wed., July 2, 2008 from 6-7 p.m. with a rosary following at 7 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 So. State Street, Murray, Utah. The inurnment will be Thursday, July 3, 2008 at 10 a.m. at Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery Mausoleum, 275 "U" Street, Salt Lake City, Utah. Online condolences:
