Virgil Jones
1910 ~ 2008
Virgil Jones passed away peacefully July 12th , 2008.Born August 7th, 1910 to Jehu Cox Jones and Emily Herring. He married Audry Bacon on May 12th, 1933 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Virgil is survived by his children, Teddy V. Jones, Shirleen Kimball, Gary Dee Jones, Lynn B. Jones and LaRena Meyers; siblings, Glenna Jack of Oregon and Grace Lemihan of Minnesota as well as twenty-one grandchildren, 66 great-grandchildren and eighteen great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his wife, Audry Bacon Jones, parents, brothers Norman and Avery; sisters, Vernes Lusk and Della Stone.
The family would like to thank everyone at the West Jordan Beehive Home and Hospice for Utah.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. with a viewing one hour prior on July 15th at Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 South Redwood Road. Interment will be at Redwood Memorial Estates.
