Jon Klopfenstein

Jon Klopfenstein, age 56, passed away July 12, 2008 in the High Uintah Mountains.
Jon was born April 3, 1953 in Challis, Idaho to Donald and Inez Klopfenstein. He graduated from Kellogg High School. Jon married Marilyn Hatathlie on March 27, 1973. Our Dad was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend. He loved being outdoors with family: camping, fishing and hunting. Jon was a proud American who served in the United States Marine Corps.
Jon is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Marilyn C. Klopfenstein; children, Regina H. Charley, Adair Klopfenstein and Jana I. Rodberg; siblings, Jill (Vic) Roberts of Lewistown, MT and Lee (Jan) Klopfenstein of Bonners Ferry, ID, and seven grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Inez Klopfenstein, and brother, Alan Klopfenstein.
Memorial Services will be held Wednesday, July 16, 2008 at 12:00 noon at Valley View Funeral Home, 4335 W. 4100 So. The family will receive friends at a visitation at 11:00 a.m. prior to the service.
