Robert Lee Shields

"Mr. Riverdance"

Beloved husband, father, grandfather and very best friend, Robert Lee Shields, was taken from us on July 6, 2008 after decades of hard work to provide for his family. "Only the good die young".Born November 15, 1946, to

Robert and Lucille Shields, married the love of his life, Susan on July 9, 1971. Served in the U.S. Army Reserves from 1968-1971.

Bob loved his family and sharing his love for the outdoors; especially Lake Powell, fishing with his sons, picnicking with his daughter and adoring his wife. Bob was always good for a laugh from a small word to entertaining us all in Lake Powell with his own version of "The Riverdance". Being around the family was the joy of his life. His grandchildren were his angels and will miss him dearly.
