FORT WORTH, Texas — TCU promoted assistant coaches Jarrett Anderson and Justin Fuente to be co-offensive coordinators, filling the void created when offensive coordinator Mike Schultz left last month for the same job at Illinois.

Horned Frogs coach Gary Patterson also announced Tuesday the addition of former SMU offensive coordinator Rusty Burns as wide receivers coach.

Anderson, who has been at TCU for 11 seasons, will switch from wide receivers coach to running backs coach. Fuente, offensive coordinator at Illinois State before joining the Frogs three years ago, will coach quarterbacks instead of running backs.

Burns was at SMU from 2004-07, and previously was offensive coordinator at Cincinnati (2002-03), Wyoming (1999-2001), Memphis (1996-98) and Connecticut (1980-88).
