I, like many others, am worried that the "bailout" will only reinforce the inflated prices and investment speculation that led us into this depression. But contrary to many others, I don't blame the "government" for the bailout. I blame the system we have developed for electing public officials. In most cases now, the people who get elected are those who have access to a lot of money and have mastered the art of telling the people what they want to hear. It is not the government's fault. It is our fault.
