Steve Wozniak has been named chief scientist at Fusion-io. Wozniak will be a technical adviser to the Fusion-io research and development group and will work with the executive team to formulate company strategy. Wozniak co-founded Apple Inc. Prior to being named chief scientist at Fusion-io, he was a member of the company's advisory board.
Anthony Eller, Peter Clark and Peter Daly have joined Advise & Consult Inc. Eller has more than 30 years of experience in construction and consulting. Clark has been a general contractor since 1979. Daly has been a consultant for 17 years.
Craig Jensen has been appointed vice president of worldwide sales and Rourke Mace has been promoted to vice president of business development at eFileCabinet Inc. Jensen has more than 15 years of experience in technology product sales and management, holding senior sales management positions at several technology companies.
Ginger Utley, Sara J. Ahlstrom and Nan Kolb have joined Jones Waldo Holbrook & McDonough PC. Utley is an attorney in the Litigation Department after serving as a summer associate in 2006. She also has experience as a writing instructor in the English Department of Utah State University and owned her own instructional design consulting business where she developed computer-based training programs. Her education includes three degrees from Utah State University and one from the University of Utah. Ahlstrom joins Jones Waldo as marketing assistant and will support all internal and external marketing campaigns, events and management of the Jones Waldo brand. Before joining Jones Waldo, she held numerous positions at another company, most recently as its advertising manager. Her education includes a degree from Brigham Young University. Kolb is a human resources and accounting assistant. Before joining Jones Waldo, she was an accounts receivable specialist for one company and an accounting clerk for another.
Joe Sigg has been named director of aircraft spares at SkyWest Airlines, a subsidiary of SkyWest Inc. Sigg replaces Todd Wilkinson, who has taken a new role at SkyWest's sister carrier, Atlantic Southeast Airlines. In his new role, Sigg will be responsible for the procurement and distribution of all aircraft parts throughout SkyWest's system, as well as working with maintenance vendors, maintaining the inventory of all parts and materials, managing parts accounts and budgets, and ensuring that all parts meet FAA regulations as well as SkyWest's standards. Sigg will oversee approximately 150 employees throughout the SkyWest system. Sigg began his SkyWest career in 1991 as an aircraft mechanic. Since then, he has served in numerous leadership roles, including chief inspector and manager of quality control.
Clint Sanderson has been appointed senior vice president of iMergent Inc. and the president of its StoresOnline division, and Jeffrey G. Korn has been appointed president and chief legal officer of iMergent. Sanderson joined StoresOnline in 2002 and has served as senior vice president of sales of the division since 2006. Since joining iMergent, he has had several positions, including sales manager and vice president of operations. Before joining StoresOnline, Sanderson was director of sales for two enterprise software companies. His education includes a degree from Brigham Young University. Korn has served as general counsel of iMergent since 2002. Before joining the company, he had a private consulting practice, was general counsel of another company and was a partner of a law firm in Florida. He also has been an adviser to private venture firms, a lecturer and a college instructor.
Jay Schaffer has joined Infopia as vice president of marketing. Shaffer has nearly 10 years of e-commerce experience. Most recently, he worked at one of Infopia's technology partners as vice president of worldwide sales and marketing. Prior to that, Shaffer held executive marketing and other positions at several online retail companies.
Judd Feingold of Up East Sales has joined Suunto, a subsidiary of Amer Sports Corp., as a sales representative. His territory includes Massachusetts, Connecticut, Vermont, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Maine. Feingold also works with Suunto's sister company, Salomon, as well as a handful of other vendors.
Benjamin Fuller has been appointed vice president and director of client services and business development at MediaRif. Fuller has more than 15 years of experience in information technology sales and marketing. Most recently, he worked in San Francisco as an account director for a marketing agency. Fuller will lead the advertising services division of MediaRif.
Sheila Thorne has joined the Industry Advisory Board of Neumont University. A certified business analyst in northern California, Thorne is currently the information technology specialist worldwide profession leader for IBM. With 20 years of experience, Thorne's background includes the mechanical design of ATM cash gates, networking and software customization for Unix, and the development and deployment of numerous educational offerings.
Ken Jacquin has joined Ragnar Events LLC as chief executive officer. Jacquin is a partner in Dolphin Capital and has been on the board of Ragnar Events since January 2008. Prior to joining Ragnar Events, he was chief financial officer of another company and an investment banker with a bank in London, Tokyo and Baltimore.

Patricia M. French has been appointed vice president and assistant general counsel at Kern River Gas Transmission Co. French directs the legal affairs of Kern River and provides legal counsel and guidance on the activities of the organization, including strategic advice regarding commercial, regulatory, operational and administrative issues. French previously was lead counsel of another company since June 2006. She started there as senior attorney in May 2003. Before that, she was a senior associate attorney with a Boston-based law firm, chief of the utilities section of the Rhode Island attorney general's office, and a legal counsel for the Massachusetts Department of Public Utilities.
Roberto A. Macina has joined the executive management team at Axial Biotech Inc. as vice president of research and development. Macina has more than 13 years of experience in the fields of molecular biology, genomics, cancer research and molecular diagnostics. Prior to joining Axial, Macina worked with the molecular diagnostics department at another company in the discovery and characterization of novel genes expressed in different cancers.
