Brady Poppinga didn't always act this way.The Green Bay Packers linebacker wasn't this funny. He wasn't this outgoing. He certainly didn't show this crazy personality of his that has endeared him to both teammates and fans. "I was a shy guy in high school," said Poppinga, who is spending the week as part of the Packers' Tailgate Tour that includes teammates Nick Collins and Jordy Nelson.But the shy kid — a devout Mormon — went on his mission to Uruguay for two years after high school and returned home a different man. Poppinga had become comfortable talking and dealing with people, and it showed. "All of a sudden, I was like, 'Man, there is no reason to fear anything,'" said Poppinga, who attended BYU after completing his mission. "You know? Just be who you are, and if people don't accept it, fine. If people accept it, great.
