Andy Duvall led a group of 28 qualifiers for this week's Utah Open at Oakridge Country Club by shooting an 8-under-par 64 at Glen Eagle Golf Course in Syracuse.

Four golfers, Joe Parkinson, Kyle Chappell, Colby Myers and Alexander Bojanic, shot 65, while three golfers, including former State Amateur champion Mike McRae, shot 66. Amateur Jeff Kitches was one of three golfers at 67, former Utah Open champ Greg Buckway was one of four at 68, while former State Am champ Tony Finau was among 11 golfers at 69.
Jon Fister and Josh Williams claimed the final two spots in a playoff after they were in a group of 10 golfers at 70.
The tournament, sponsored by Siegfried and Jensen, begins Friday at Oakridge and will run through Sunday.
