BYU grad and Lehi native Jameson King placed 15th in the 25- to 29-year-old male division at the 2009 Gold Coast Sprint AG Triathlon World Championships in Australia Saturday with a time of 1:05:47.

Fellow American Greg Moe took eighth place in the same division with a time of 1:04:31, while Brazil's Andre Venturelli won the age group with a 1:02:28.

King co-founded BYU's Triathlon Club and had to qualify in San Diego a month ago.
