When missionaries in the Mexico City North Mission knocked on a door in the Riconada Ward one Saturday evening, they found 26-year-old Marco watching television with his girlfriend and her mother.

Marco listened as the missionaries shared the truths of the gospel. He accepted their invitation to attend Mormon meetings the next day. He also committed to read, ponder and pray, and seriously consider the challenge to be baptized in three weeks.

He was ready the following morning when missionaries arrived at his house at 10:40 to accompany him to church. Also dressed for meetings were his girlfriend and her mother, his 7-year-old son, and his father. During the next three hours, they met the members of the Rinconada Ward.

During the next three weeks, Marco and his family faced a variety of challenges before being baptized.
