Tuscany Restaurant, 2832 E. 6200 South, now has a 14-foot high blown art glass chandelier gracing its main entry hall.

Tuscany owners Mark Eaton and Guy Wadsworth commissioned the chandelier, which depicts an ancient grapevine with water running through its roots. It was created by Tom Holdman of Holdman Glass.

The chandelier weights more than 4,000 pounds; 3,500 pounds of the weight is pure crystal. The chandelier has 5,000 lights and has options of different colors and lighting effects. The light piece also acts as a grandfather clock to chime and fade on the hour.

The restaurant is open for lunch Tuesday-Friday and for dinner every night (801-277-9919 or www.Tuscany-SLC.com).
