Members of Susan Powell's family are scheduled to be on Tuesday's edition of "Dr. Phil" (3 p.m., Ch. 2; 8 p.m., Ch. 14). And from the tenor of the quotes released by the show, it seems pretty clear where this is headed.
Chuck and Judy Cox, parents of the Utah woman who's been missing since Dec. 7, are joined by Jennifer Graves, who's the sister of Powell's husband, Josh.
Chuck Cox says he wanted to be supportive of his son-in-law at first. "But ... it's frustrating. He won't cooperate with the police and it's impeding the investigation."
Graves says she doesn't understand why Josh Powell "has been reluctant to participate in the media arena."
"You are the husband! There is more you can do! So get up and do it!" she says. "I asked him if he was involved, and he wouldn't respond."
Also appearing is Elizabeth Smart's father, Ed.
"We wanted to do whatever it would take to find her because nothing was more important to us. That just doesn't seem to be the case with Josh," he says.
