Kathleen Day Bartholomew 81,of Fayette passed away March 15, 2010 in her home surrounded by family. She was born April 6, 1928 in Aurora, Utah, to Jesse E. and Lora Sorensen Day. After graduating from North Sevier High School she married John P. Bartholomew in the Manti Temple January 14, 1947. Kathleen has spent her days as a loving wife and homemaker on the family farm in Fayette.
She is survived by her husband, John, and her children; Keith (Delene) Bartholomew, Fayette; Sandra (Larry) Lytle, Alamo, Nevada; Scott (Lila) Bartholomew, Fayette; Steven (G'Ne) Bartholomew, Cedar City; Kathy (John) Davis, Pocatello, Idaho; and Sheri (Mike) Johnson, Mapleton; 36 grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren; and siblings, Virginia Hayes, Joan Stewart, Fred Richard Day, and Rodney Day.
Funeral services will be held Monday, March 22, 2010 at 12:00 Noon in the Fayette LDS Ward Chapel. Friends may call at the ward chapel Sunday, March 21, 2010 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Monday morning, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Interment will be in the Fayette cemetery.
