Helen Nicholes

1923~2010

SALT LAKE CITY- Helen Fern Price Nicholes, Our loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother passed from this life on March 18, 2010. Helen was born November 12, 1923 in Lehi, Utah. She is the daughter of John and Luannie Henson Price, the sixth child in a family of eight: six brothers and one sister. She married Robert Wootton Nicholes on August 11, 1944 in Salt Lake City, Utah, marriage later solemnized in the Salt Lake temple.

Helen enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a wonderful homemaker. She was an active member of the LDS church and she

enjoyed her Olympus 8th Ward Special Interest Group. Her hobbies included gardening, reading, crossword puzzles, and she was a beautiful seamstress.

Preceded in death by her husband, Robert W. Nicholes. Survived by her daughters, Robyn L. Nicholes, Salt Lake City; Luann N. (Scott) Vincent, West Jordan; four grandchildren, Jared Vincent, Sara (Jess) Desmond, Becca (Jordan) Crosby, Elder John Vincent (Louisiana Baton Rouge Mission) and two great grandchildren, Alexander Desmond, Caidence Crosby. Additional survivors include one brother, Rex T. (Mary) Price; two brother in laws, Wayne S. Powell and Garrell E. Nicholes; four sisters-in law; Jeanne N. Taylor, Sarah B. Price, Reva Adamson, and Lois

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 23, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in the Olympus 8th Ward LDS Chapel, 2675 East 4430 South, Salt Lake City, Utah. Viewing prior to the service at 9:30 a.m. at the church. Interment will be at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
