During the final stages of passing Obama health care, President Barack Obama made the promise that illegal immigrants would not get health care coverage. Now we see how this is coming along. Congress is now working to pass a law granting amnesty to the illegal immigrants. With amnesty, they would not be illegal anymore.
This action would "buy" the current party in power many of the 12 million to 16 million voters who received this amnesty. And it would greatly increase the cost of health care.
