Renza Myers

Our angel Mother, Renza Myers Conger, died in Provo Utah, April 30, 2010. She was 87-years-old. Renza was born in Parowan, Utah, February 9, 1923.
Her parents were, Tom and Doris (Thornton) Myers. She married Dan Lewis Conger, and they raised seven children: Thomas Dan Conger (Jimmie), Kathleen Conger, Joy Rasmussen (Ron), Jill Lewis (Robert), Lorraine Conger, David Conger (Luisa), and Raymond Conger (Bonnie). Renza and Dan have 27 grandchildren and 55 great-grandchildren. Other living family members are: sisters, Sylvia Geddes and Joy Wiscombe (Art).
Renza and Dan lived primarily in Las Vegas, Nevada; Alta Loma, Calif.; and Ivins, Utah. Along the way they collected many friends that enriched their lives so very much. Renza loved playing the piano that Dan brought her for her birthday. She enjoyed embroidery, quilting, doing temple work and even learned to paint landscapes in her later years. Her nature was to serve others continuously. She was a faithful member of the LDS Church. She had a deep love for the gospel of Jesus Christ and never hesitated to proclaim and defend its truths. The theme of her later-years was to trust in God, come what may. We always knew she loved us.
Funeral services Thursday, May 6th, at 11:00 a.m. at the Franklin 1st Ward Chapel, 835 South 500 West, Provo, UT. Viewing Wednesday, May 5th from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Walker Mortuary, 85 East 300 South, Provo and Thursday, 9:45-10:45 a.m. before the services. Interment, Friday, May 7 at 2 p.m., at the Ivins Utah City Cemetery, 400 North 200 West, Ivins, UT. Online condolences:
