In this 1976 address, Elder Neal A. Maxwell shares words of comfort and offers advice to those who feel they are forever falling short.

Elder Maxwell explains that this is a common feeling among members of the church, but he also says there is no reason to despair.

"This is a gospel of grand expectations, but God’s grace is sufficient for each of us. Discouragement is not the absence of adequacy but the absence of courage, and our personal progress should be yet another way we witness to the wonder of it all!" he says.
