DALLAS — On the heels of yet another lopsided loss, the Utah Blaze have gone back to the drawing board, hoping to find the formula for success.
One ingredient in that formula that has been missing so often is a beatable opponent. Saturday night, the Blaze face off against Dallas in a game matching equally futile teams.
The Vigilantes, who won their second game of the season last week against Chicago, sport a 2-12 record. And if there is a team the Blaze can feel confident against, it just might be Dallas.
Utah, though, is still struggling with confidence and also with maintaining a stable roster. After last week's 48-20 loss at Arizona, the Blaze juggled the roster even more, bringing in four new faces, including taking the whistle out of assistant coach Jermaine Younger's mouth and giving him a uniform in hopes of getting enough healthy and competent bodies on the field.
After Saturday night's game, the Blaze will close out the season with a trip to the Alabama Vipers.
