Kathryn Bird Wootton Passed away on August 13, 2010 from cause's incident to age.

Kathryn was born May 29, 1922 in Nephi, Utah to Kenneth James Bird and Lola Jane Bradley. The family later moved to American Fork where Kathryn graduated from American Fork High School. She married her high school sweetheart, Virgil B. Wootton, in the Salt Lake Temple on February 2, 1942. They lived a short time in California and returned to American Fork to raise their family. Virgil and Kathryn opened Thornwood Studio and operated the photography business for 35 years. Kathryn loved music and played the piano for the enjoyment of her family and ward. She loved to sing and sang in many local choirs. She was active in the LDS Church all of her life. Virgil and Kathryn loved to travel. In their retirement years they crossed the United States many times in their RV.

Kathryn is survived by her husband, Virgil B. Wootton; sons, Kenneth Virgil (Nila) and Gilbert Lynn (Caren); and daughters, Marsha (Tom) Worlton and Kristeen Fillmore; 11 grandchildren and 26 great-grand

children. Preceded in death by her parents, brother and four sisters, and two grandchildren Neil Kenneth Wootton and C. Daniel Worlton.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday August 17, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in the Anderson & Sons Mortuary Chapel, 49 East 100 North, American Fork where friends may call Monday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the services.
