Della LaRain Wright returned to her Heavenly Father Wednesday, Aug. 18, 2010. Della was born December 21, 1927, in Salt Lake City, to James Thomas Wright and Ruth Cook

Mantle Wright.

Della graduated from South High School then attended the University of Utah and the Radio Institute of Utah. She became a bookkeeper, and worked for Dick Davis and Ken Matthies until she took over the

business.

A violinist most of her life, Della played with Wasatch Community

Orchestra. She was highly involved in the management of the orchestra. She also served as a stake missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Della was adored by her nephews and nieces because she always took time to make each one feel special. She was a devoted daughter and dedicated her life to caring for her parents in their last years.

Della was preceded in death by her parents, James Thomas Wright and Ruth Mantle Wright; her sisters, Nina Davis Matthies, Mary Louise Wright, Sylvia Maxine Cordner,

Betty Helms, Ruth Elaine Wilkins Matthies; her brother James Ray "Bud" Wright; and a niece, Connie Helms Baxter. She leaves behind one sister, Sarah Pearl Hoffman of

Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, August 21, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Larkin Mortuary

located at 260 East South Temple in Salt Lake City, Utah. Friends and family may call Saturday 9:30a.m.-10:45 a.m. at Larkin Mortuary.

Interment will be in the Salt Lake City Cemetery located at Fourth Avenue and "N" Street. Condolences may be sent to www.larkinmortuary.com.
