Mark P. Hanson 1944 ~ 2010
Mark P. Hanson, 65, of Salem, Utah passed away at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center on August 26, 2010.Mark was born on September 5, 1944 in Payson, Utah to Glen L. and Afton Peck Hanson. Mark graduated from Spanish Fork High School. He married Bonnie Hales, together they had four children. Mark worked 30+ years in the Heavy Highway Construction Industry. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening. Mark is survived by his wife, Bonnie; his children, Tracy (James) Davis of Spanish Fork; Jared (Karen) Hanson of Payson; Amanda (Ryan) Stansfield of Salem; and Heath (Cheri) Hanson of Payson; a sister, Sharol (Dennis) Cornaby of Salem; brother-in-law, David Christensen of LaVerkin; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Mark was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Kent Hanson; and sister, Annette Christensen. Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 30, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Walker Mortuary, 187 South Main Street, Spanish Fork, Utah. Family and friends may call at Walker Mortuary on Sunday evening, August 29, 2010 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. or on Monday morning from 9:45-10:45 a.m. prior to services.
