The Westminster Concert Series continues its Frédéric Chopin festival celebrating the composer's 200th birthday.

There are three concerts lined up that not only present a wide variety of the Polish composer's works but also feature a number of local pianists.

The first takes place Sept. 20 and will feature pianists Kori Bond and Mark Neiwirth.

The concerts begin at 7:30 p.m. and take place in Vieve Gore Concert Hall. Tickets are $15 general admission; students are admitted free of charge.

For more information, or to get tickets, call 801-832-2300 or log on to www.westminstercollege.educulturalevents.

The second concerts in the series will take place Oct. 18, featuring Vedrana Subotic — the two concertos (with orchestra).

The third concert, featuring Heather Conner in a selection of piano pieces, will take place Nov. 15.
