Donna Bell Watts, loving wife, daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on Friday, January 7, 2011 after two major leg surgeries resulting from a fall. She was born on October 1, 1913 to Maggie Lunt Peck and Leonard Peck. Her education was shortened by the early death of her father. She entered the workforce at age 14 to help provide for her family. Donna met her beloved Leonard (Pinky) Bell in Mammoth, UT, where they fell in love and were married on April 4, 1936 (later solemnized in the Idaho Falls Temple on August 6, 1963). They loved each other dearly and enjoyed a very special companionship throughout their lives. They became the parents of three beloved children. Years after the passing of her dear husband, Donna met and married Joseph Watts. Donna offered selfless and devoted service to her family, church and extended family of friends. She was always giving comfort and love to those around her. She provided dinners, house cleaning, and baby sitting for those in need. Her graceful approach to living had a profound impact on many. Donna was a woman without guile. She loved unconditionally and forgave easily. She was a devoted Disciple of Christ. She thoroughly enjoyed her eight years of being a temple worker at the Jordan River Temple. She held various leadership positions in the Relief Society, Young Women's and Primary organizations. She was the cookie grandma for the Jr. Primary and Nursery Leader for 26 years. Donna was affiliated with the Bingham Fire Ladies Assoc. and the Civic Club where she held several administrative positions. She was a member of the PTA for 25 years. Some of her hobbies included sewing, baking, reading and traveling. She was a member of The Good Sams and the Roamin' Utes campers. She loved playing cards and Bingo and being with her friends at the Golden Years Senior Center. Donna's quiet, caring demeanor will be greatly missed by her loving children and grandchildren as well as her many friends. Donna is survived by her devoted children, Karen (Paul) Henderson, Keith Bell, Colleen (Mike) Forbush; 15 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and three great, great, grandchildren.
