MILAN — The devilish duo Dolce and Gabbana showed the most fun-filled collection of the current menswear winter fashion shows, offering funky outfits with such 1960's logos as Coca Cola advertising and Mickey Mouse cartoons.
The D&G show, aimed at the younger set, was both colorful and exuberant.
Orange, green, yellow, blue and red outfits ranging from suits with a short jacket and narrow pants to bomber jackets and basketball sneakers, all combined to offer a cheery take on the long winter months.
The models, who for once were allowed to look happy, wore head phones and sported T-shirts with such slogans as "Love Me Tonite."
The peppy show had a disco beat, with a single song dedicated to Barbra Streisand.
Often evoking their beloved Sicily, the duo took a sharp departure with their ode to Americana.
