Richard Thompson's cartoon "Cul de Sac" is masterful. I was not drawn to the facial features of his characters at first (I'm still not), but there is far more going on in this strip.

He remembers precisely what it was like to be a little child — the smallness, the craziness, the parallel 'universes' that each child inhabits, the hopes, the different personalities. I see myself, my brother, my family in his strip all the time. It's the last comic I read, because I know I'll always get a chuckle from Alice's strange, zany world.

Thanks for having the sense to include it, even against initial controversy.
