CENTERVILLE — Police are looking for a man they say walked into a local credit union late Saturday morning, demanded money, and then fled in a vehicle with others.

Centerville Police responded to a silent bank robbery alarm at the America First Credit Union, 451 W. Parrish Lane, around 11:30 a.m.

Police say the man did not display a weapon but demanded money and then laid across the teller counter and took money out of a drawer. The teller tripped a silent alarm and the bait money, which the suspect took, tripped a second alarm.

The man was seen wearing a grey hoodie, blue jeans with a white bandana over his face, and gloves over his hands. He was described as standing between 5-foot-8 and 5-foot-10 inches tall. He was seen leaving in a blue/green passenger car heading south on I-15 with other passengers. The car has a plate number including either Z46 or Z48.

Anyone with information can call Centerville Police at 801-292-8411.
