Henry B. Wouden " A Wonderful Life"
Henry B. Wouden, 80, passed away February 2, 2011 at his home in Sandy, Utah.He was born in Rotterdam, Netherlands on October 18, 1930, the ninth child of Pieter Van Der Wouden and Cornelia Smit. Henry immigrated to the United States in 1949 and served in the US Air Force during the Korean War, 1950-1954 while stationed in Korea, Japan and Okinawa. He married in 1954 to Maaike T'Hart. They served a mission to Holland in 1990. The couple are the parents of four children: Wilford (Suzanne), William (Sharon), Johanna (Lee and Susan Stewart), and Pieter (Chris) Wouden, 26 grandchildren, and 16 great-grand-children. Henry worked as a machinist at the SL Chevron Oil Refinery from 1970-1987. He spent much effort on genealogy and sent more than 90,000 names to the temple. He loved his Heavenly Father, his wife Anna and his children, grandchildren, and good classical music. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 5, 2011, 11:00 a.m. in the Larkin Sunset Gardens Chapel, 1950 East 10600 South, Sandy.
