Utah alumnus Eric Weddle's status with the San Diego Chargers is uncertain as the NFL negotiates a new Collective Bargaining Agreement. Chargers general manager A.J. Smith told the "San Diego Union Tribune" that “Eric is a great kid and an outstanding player. He is exactly the type of player we want to be a part of the Chargers organization."
