Raymond "Wick" Mousley 1925 ~ 2011
Our beloved dad, grandpa, great grandpa and friend, Wick, passed away April 7, 2011 at his home peacefully in Riverton, Utah. Preceded in death by his wife and best friend of 61 years, Deloris Dansie Mousley. Wick served his country in the United States Navy in the Pacific during World War II aboard the USS LCS 31 "Dolly 1". Wick received a Presidential Unit Citation for extraordinary heroism in action during an attack by enemy planes at Okinawa and Iwo Jima. Wick loved his family and friends and enjoyed spending time with them. Those who knew Wick knew him to be tough on the outside with a kind, generous heart. Wick is survived by his daughter, DeRae (Glen) Ohmie; grandchildren, Neil Ohmie; Lisa Ohmie; great grandchildren; niece, Jill Wagaman; nephew, Jack Conkle. Wick was known by many and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. A graveside service will be held at 12 Noon on Monday, April 11, 2011 at the Riverton City Cemetery, 1500 West 13200 South. www.goffmortuary.com
