West Valley City – Deputy City Attorney J. Eric Bunderson has been named city attorney.
His appointment by City Manager Wayne Pyle was ratified by the West Valley City Council on May 24.
Bunderson received his bachelor’s degree from Utah State University and his juris doctorate from the University of Utah. He first worked for the city as a prosecutor and recently moved to the Civil Division after being promoted to deputy city attorney. “I’m incredibly honored to have been given this opportunity,” he said. “I have been mentored by incredible leaders, and I look forward to the challenges that will come with this position.”
