Skywest to discontinue Cody-SLC flight Sept. 6

CODY, Wyo. — A spokeswoman for Skywest Airlines says the company will discontinue its nonstop flight between Cody and Salt Lake City on Sept. 6.

Marissa Snow said Wednesday the airline is unable to operate the route profitably, and the company has no plans to return service to Cody after Sept. 6. She added that the airline is "constantly evaluating and re-evaluating our markets."

Skywest, headquartered in St. George, Utah, provides service for Delta Connections.
